WWE HALL OF FAME: THE ECW WING
Even if you weren't a direct fan of Paul Heyman's extreme vision, you should respect it enough to realize how crucial ECW was to the industry, most notably, during the infamous Monday Night Wars. It was ECW that truly planted the seeds for WWE's "Attitude Era". Both WCW and WWE ripped ECW off of both direction/story lines as well as its stars. Only difference was, Vince McMahon compensated Paul Heyman by putting him on his payroll before eventually one day buying the hardcore company. Vince also tried and succeeded in making Heyman's guys into stars, where Eric Bischoff did things like buying out ECW Champion Mike Awesome to jump ship, only to then bury the late superstar with lame character and story lines...(READ MORE)
