ARE WE APPROACHING A BRAND SPLIT IN WWE?
WWE.LogoFlashback to 2002. Vince McMahon and the WWE was just a year removed from the purchasing of rival WCW in 2001. The WWE and the World titles were unified and "The Next Big Thing" Brock Lesner was fresh on the scene and wrecking havoc through the WWE roster. Vinnie Mac decided it was time to "shake things up", proceeded to split the roster into Raw and Smackdown!, with the two brands almost competing with each other. First it was 50/50 owners Vince McMahon and Ric Flair, with later, General Managers being named. Stephanie McMahon being in charge of Smackdown!, and the newly hired and former rival, Eric Bischoff being the GM of Raw. In the beginning, the WWE Undisputed Champion was to appear on both brands, until Brock Lesner beat The Rock for the belt. Then, Stephanie McMahon proceeded to sign Lesner to a contract making him exclusive to Smackdown!, which led to Bischoff handing Triple H the WWE World Championship so Raw would have a champion. For awhile, both brands were equal, and in some cases...(READ MORE)

Undertaker_Logo_BurningTHE DEADMAN WILL RISE AGAIN!
Was Wrestlemania XXX the last we will see of The Undertaker? It could have been. However, there is a good chance that we haven't seen the last of The Phenom. The Streak may have ended, and he only returned the last few years to perform at Wrestlemania, but isn't he "more" than just The Streak? A character, and more importantly, a man who deserves a better send off as well? Even if we were to say that he is too banged up to go on his own anymore, there are ways to work around this. One would think an Undertaker after a broken streak would be a dangerous Undertaker. His level of respect with both the fans and...(READ MORE)

WWE GANG WARFARE
Factions are beginning to pick up some steam in the WWE again. The Shield and The Wyatt Family are white hot, and just getting started. There were rumors of The Shield splitting up, and could still happen in the future or the WWE has seen an opportunity to add a little gang warfare to the mix of things for awhile. With the short lived Corporate Attitude (Corporate Kane and the Corporate Outlaws) and now the rebirth of Evolution (minus Ric Flair seemingly) it seems they are, at least until Extreme Rules. Can't blame them really given the success of The Wyatt's squaring off against The Shield. An angle that was over with the crowd, with them all slowly getting into the ring, and not even throwing a punch until they squared off a few weeks later. With quite a full roster, that now...(READ MORE)

WWE.Wrestling.CanadaOH CANADA! WHO IS CANADA'S NEXT TOP WWE STAR?
Some of the greatest wrestlers of all time have come from Canada. Legends like Killer Kowalski, Bret Hart, Chris Jericho, Edge, the list goes on. Even some of the American greats have been trained by Canadians. The aforementioned Kowalski trained stars like Triple H. Stu Hart had trained his sons of course, but also legends like Superstar Bill Graham. Canucks have always been an intricate part of things in wrestling, both as stars and for being generally known as the workhorses of the profession. Guys like...(READ MORE)

IT'S SHOWTIME!!!
Wrestling legend Sting, aka Steve Borden, recently appeared on the WWE Network as part of the Ultimate Warrior tribute and shared his thoughts and feelings on the late legend. As reported before, Sting has signed with the WWE. While many other sites chose to back track on the report with WWE not making anything official yet,  The Non-Geeky Nerd said that it was likely Sting and WWE not wanting to take away from nor over shadow the tragic events and allow time to celebrate The Ultimate Warriors life and career. A class act by all involved. Some may argue, but remember that it is very unlikely that...(READ MORE)

Sting_signs_with_WWE.Sting.WWE.Stinger.The_IconWRESTLING ICON SIGNS WITH WWE
It is being reported by a variety of reliable sites, that Steve Borden better known as Sting has finally signed with the WWE. Nobody has reported any details regarding the situation, only that The Icon has signed with the company. Sting represents the final piece to the WCW puzzle for Vince McMahon and the WWE. Being the only top superstar from the formerly Crocket and then Turner owned company who hasn't ever appeared in World Wrestling Entertainment. For fans, this is a big deal. It will be interesting to see how and when they use Stinger. With the recent events of The Ultimate Warrior passing away so suddenly and his connection to Sting, it would be nice to see a The Icon make his debut during a Tribute Show for Warrior perhaps. Even if you...(READ MORE)

WWE.Wrestlemania-30.WM30.Wrestlemania-XXX.Wrestleman-30-Logo.NON-GEEKY NERD'S WRESTLEMANIA XXX PREDICTIONS PT.1
The countdown is under the 48hr mark, and with only the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony being the only thing that is left to do. This Sunday, Wrestlmania XXX will be viewed by the millions...and millions.  Hopefully there won't be any viewers lost due to a WWE Network error, something one would hope the WWE has prepared for, using the time between the launch and Wrestlemania to work out the glitches. With a pretty solid line-up booked that includes the inaugural Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal and Brock Lesner looking to end The Streak. It is looking to be one the best Wrestlemania's ever.Of course everyone has their predictions as to how things will play out, who will beat who, even who will appear as a surprise on the grandest stage of them all. With the...(READ MORE)

THE WINGS OF THE WWE HALL OF FAME
It is yet to be a "physical" Hall Of Fame like Baseball's in Cooperstown or Hockey's in Toronto, key word is yet. Personally I would perhaps find a way to maybe have something near or expanded off of WWE's current development center down in Florida. It would have to be massive though, even if going off what one would assume would be the general "vision" of what it would look like with all the memorabilia and such. To fill up the extra space the would be needed for future additions to the WWE Hall Of Fame, perhaps a museum of sorts, consisting of...(READ MORE)

CM PUNK COMING BACK?
It is professional wrestling, so nothing is too far fetched, and unless they work amongst those "in the know" nobody can say, "that isn't going to happen" or "that will never happen". Some fans are open-mined enough to at least think about the match or scenario someone has laid out for them. Others are a tad bit close-minded and most times can't even accept what they are watching let alone an alternate theory or possibility. And of course there are those still stuck in a specific era of wrestling (from classic, to the 80's and the Attitude Era), however much like the people who don't even watch, their opinions are generally worth less than the Canadian penny. With the age we live in, and the WWE being more tapped into the fans via Twitter and Facebook, it is harder than ever to tell what is a work and what is a shoot. The saying goes that everything related to wrestling is...(READ MORE)
